Jets host Torfaen on Saturday.

South Wales Jets men’s team are back in home action this Saturday when we host Torfaen Tigers at Penallta RFC (kick-off 2.30pm).

The lads come back home after a 100-2 crushing of South Wales Saints to become only the second side in JES Group Rugby League Conference history to hit three figures, and the first in 19 years. It was also the biggest winning margin in the history of the league, beating our own record against the same opposition last season.

Head coach Ben Flower, who blooded a few youngsters last week, one of whom Henry Parker kicked 12 goals, rests them this week and brings back some of his first choice players, changing eight of the team.

Back in comes Lewys Willacott, Chris Harris, Luke Purnell, Aaron Lloyd, Craig Lewis and Shane Lee, whilst Jack Pearce and Connor Lloyd are set to make their debuts.

Torfaen Tigers will be playing their first match of the season following postponements in their first two games.

Admission is £5 for adults, free for U16s.

Here’s where to support our juniors on Sunday. We know it’s Father’s Day, so bring your dad or child along and have a great day with us.
